LinkedIn Text Formatting Tool
LinkedIn does not support formatting such as bold, italic or underline in its text input. With this free tool you can convert plain text into bold, italic or strikethrough Unicode characters that you can paste directly into a post, comment or profile.
Tip: use formatting sparingly. It works well for a short line or heading, but full paragraphs are less pleasant to read. Some devices or fonts display the characters slightly differently.
Frequently asked questions
Type or paste your text in the input field above and click "Bold". The tool converts your text into special Unicode characters that look bold. Copy the result and paste it into your LinkedIn post, comment or profile.
LinkedIn does not support formatting such as bold or italic in its text input. This tool works around that by replacing letters with visually similar Unicode characters, which are treated as plain text everywhere but appear bold or italic.
Most devices display these Unicode characters correctly, but screen readers often don't recognise them as regular letters. They may read words out letter by letter, mispronounce them, or skip them entirely. Use this formatting sparingly, and not for important information such as contact details or a call to action.
